What is TripTogether?
TripTogether is a social platform for travelers, designed to take your wanderlust to greater heights. Here you will find more than 1 million travelers and from this varied list, you can find the perfect travel buddy by just entering your intended travel dates and destinations. The site links you with someone who is looking for similar adventures, or is headed in the same destination.
TripTogether lets you discover travel buddies, entertain travelers in your hometown and connect with locals to learn more about your travel destination. It’s a fun new way to chat about travel, meet on the road, ask advice and swap travel tips.
How do I get started on TripTogether?
Simply sign in with Facebook or with your email. To sign up with your email, click on the upper right-hand side the button “Sign in with Email”. Then fill in your name, email and password. Then select ‘Create your Account’ and you are done! Welcome to TripTogether.
Is it free to register?
Yes, it is free to register. Membership plan is available for unlimited conversations.
How do I upload a profile picture?
Click on the upper right-hand menu button. Select ‘Profile’ and click ‘Add photos’. Please note that all photos added to your profile should be of yourself or of your travels. You are not permitted to upload photos that include contact information or depict pornography, celebrities, spam and copyrighted material.
- How do I update my profile on TripTogether?
Click on the upper right-hand menu button. Select ‘Profile’ and fill in your details. You can fill in your age, hometown, languages, occupation and perhaps write something interesting about yourself. You can also complete your profile with one click, by connecting to Facebook
How can I share my trip?
Click on the upper right-hand menu button. Select ‘Trips’ and click on the button “Create New Trip”. Fill in your trip details. Once you are finished, click on ‘Create’. Your trip will automatically be shared with other travelers, in order to help you find potential travel mates heading the same way.
What is “my experience”?
“My experience” is a feature that allows you to share your travel story . You can express your thoughts and feelings about a particular destination by writing a report and sharing your travel photos with fellow travelers. Before your trip, you can read and discuss stories from members who have already been there. This way you can improve your trip by learning from other people’s experience.
How do I find travel mates?
You can browse through travel mates by scrolling down on the home page. If you have specific criteria, select on the home page “Change Search Criteria”. Fill in what type of travel mates you are looking for and click “Show Matches”. Now, your search results will be more precise to your preferences.
How do I start a conversation with a fellow traveler?
Simply click on the travelers profile and send them a message. Once a message is sent they will move to the “Conversations” tab on the right-hand side. The “Conversations” tab gives you easy access to all your messages.
What is TripTogether’s membership plan?
TripTogether’s membership allows users to communicate without any limits. The membership is a recurring payment and costs $14.99 a month.
How do I purchase a membership?
Click on the upper right-hand menu button. Select ‘Upgrade’ and fill in your payment details.
